Anne en Zef – Ad de Bont: Anne and Zef (12+) was based to some extent on the diary of Anne Frank, and shows to youngsters who, in spite of extreme circumstances, refuse to give up. Playwright Ad de Bont combines two worldstories ingeniously: the story of Anne and the story of Zef, an Albanian boy who has to go into hiding because of blood revenge. They meet in the afterlife and experience a love story.

Waakhondje – Peer Wittenbols: Watchdog (9+) is a timeless piece about mourning. Watchdog tells the story of a mother and her two daughters, who try to deal with father’s death. After his death, almost a year before, Mother has become bedridden. Her daughters, Evi and Mara, try to nagivate their way trough both their mothers grief and their own, when Wolf, the boy who lives next door, knocks on their door: he has seven questions for his school speech about death and he badly wants answers to them.
